Just wondering why so often when I click on a story in newsletter, \i get access denied. Apart from that I enjoy it as much as the lads.

That's probably because you haven't joined to the comm/friended the author.

Most of communities and LJs are friend-locked, to avoid spam and trolls as much as possible, and to protect our privacy.

I know lots of people don't want their f-lists cluttered, so they avoid to friend too many comms and people, but you could just join and not have the post showing. The best of both worlds: a clean f-list and access to the stories :P
