Is anyone else having issues with the preview? Because for the last two weeks I was unable to get it working :/

Not the preview specifically, but I've been having all manner of weird problems with LJ for the last couple of weeks - they've been messing with the coding again, is all I can think. It seems to be different problems with different layouts and versions too, which doesn't help. /o\

Well, not with the preview, exactly, but with posting and tags, yes. I go to post to my journal and nine times out of ten, it offers me a tag selection not from the tags I use myself, but instead from one of the communities I subscribe to. (First on the list alphabetically, which I presume is why that comm in particular.)

Yep, I've had times when the preview has failed me, and since that's always when I want to do things with html it's a bit nerve wracking.

Yeah, I know the feeling... waiting for the page to load and see if there is some 'irreparable error, owner must fix it manually' showing ~sigh~

I did notice in their header banner that there would be problems with the preview function, so I don't think it's you, its LJ

Yeah, for what I gathered from comments here, there is a nice array of issues going on ~sighs~ Posting without preview, when there is html involved is nerve-wrecking, to say the less :P

I sometimes can't see comments or post. But if if I switch from Firefox (my primary web browser) to Chrome, the problem goes away. Whatever is up with LJ, it's very frustrating.

Maybe some of the add-ons on Firefox are playing havoc? I have noticed that different browsers have different issues. For example, Chrome is ideal for Tumblr, as Firefox doesn't like x-Kit, and I will not go anywhere near Tumblr without it *cuddles x-Kit*, but if you have lots of windows open, it will eat up all your resources, and so, Opera is better for that (Firefox is also a really eater of resources, but I blame for it the immeasurable amount of add-ons I use with it).

But no matter what browser I use, LJ don't let me preview post, although I have no problems using that function with comments. Life on-line is weird :P
